Ac stop leak is fine in my experience Other than that, forget it. I've never seen it do anything remotely close to what radiator stop leak does
I use the ac pro with stop leak and uv dye often. Personally i have never seen any kind of stop leak product work, with the exception of radiator stuff that may work on a very slight leak Stop leak works by soaking into seals and expanding them
The side effect is that it also soaks into the hoses and breaks them down
The bits of hose end up in the system and cause problems So to answer your question probably not. Based on their description, it sounds like this stop leak just adds a heavier weight refrigerant oil (or something to that affect) that gums up the leak point It may work for a while but adding any unconventional oils or coagulants to a/c systems will just make the future repairs more expensive and more labor intensive.
Those of you who use leak stop what has been your experience with it My company doesn't use it since we can't guarantee it will work Recently a family members evap started leaking and i had to add 3lbs of refrigerant Coil is 1400 dollars at cost
I was debating on trying leak stop if it turns out to be a slow leak.
If your a/c system is leaking it can become costly to repair Therefore it has probably come to your mind to repair the leak with an ac stop leak sealer. Ac stop leak by super tech (walmart) $7 vs the ac pro's $27 stop leak
Anyone have experience with it I added dye and found a shop that offered to find the leak for free. I have used these with good success when you can find the leak and see 1 it is small enough of a leak, 2 you have a difficult time getting to it But if there is no oil leaking with it the product won't work.
