I've migrated from opera gx to vivaldi because of this issue My only extension is 7tv. Memory usage with opera opened were increased overtime, until my whole computer crash because of all pagination memory was used by opera

Lt does not happer with chrome, vivaldi and edge. Triws to unistall and reinstall but nothing changed Opera gx is using high memory ram in the recent updates (it was fine last month) well looks like we can't use a same tab to watch videos, if you open a video you need to close the tab and open the new video on new tab to reset the memory

According to windows task manager, it's 10 go

And according to opera's task manager, it's even more (there is no total shown but it's over 13 go) So i used opera's task manager to clean manually the memory by killing tabs, but obviously this isn't very convenient.
