Shimano did warranty that one Shimano tech docs show this diaphragm as a unique part (with part number) for 105 and ultegra levers, but not grx levers. Interestingly these 2 leaks represent the extreme ends of the product line from uber cheap to finicky high end

Otoh, all my bread and butter groupset slx and xt brakes have been flawless. Based on everything i've read, the most likely problem is the oil diaphragm Sounds like you applied too much pressure from the syringe and burst the bladder in the lever

The only fix would be to find a broken lever you can steal the bladder from, or buy new levers

Shimano doesn't seem to offer the bladder as a spare part, but maybe in your country that's different Shimano saint m820 lever leaking! In bikes, parts, and gear Does anyone know why shimano shifter could leak oil through the round element at the top of the shifter

It looks like a breather or something My front brake is fine but there is definitely something wrong with my rear brake. Xt m785 brake reservoir leak when bleeding and possible piston seal leak I've had shimano levers show up brand new in box, and behind the yellow stopper/plug thing there's an olive already inserted

If you installed the hose with another olive and didn't notice there was a second one already in the lever, maybe it's not compressing right and that's the leakage edit, just read you bought it used.

Shimano zee lever leaking in mechanics' lounge Last week i bled my hydraulic disc brakes (shimano 105, r7020) and added new (mineral) oil As far as i can judge, i did this process according to the booklet Now i have the following situation

My left shifter (front brake) seems to 'sweat'/leak. Leaking hydraulic reservoir diaphragm on grx lever I've got a grx lever that is leaking from the reservoir
